A road has been closed after an accident near a petrol station.

The collision happened in Borstal Hill near the junction for Gordon Road in Whitstable.

The closure between KwikFit and Tollgate is causing delays to Stagecoach bus services.

The bus operator tweeted to say: “Due to an incident currently on Borstal Hill between Tollgate and Kwik-Fit, all Triangle and five services are going to be diverted via Thanet Way, Church Street, past the Monument Pub and Whitstable rail station to Cromwell Road in both directions.”

Police have been approached for further comment.
