The African Children's Choir will perform in Gravesend

After performing Sing with Gary Barlow outside Buckingham Palace at the Diamond Jubilee Concert last year, the African Children’s Choir have gone on tour.

Their heart-melting songs and smiles formed part of the Commonwealth Band who performed the No1 single that day in June and met the Queen.

Next stop for the choir is Gravesend’s Methodist Church for a night of children’s songs, traditional spirituals and rhythmic gospel favourites.

Proceeds from the performance help raise awareness of the plight of the millions of orphaned and abandoned children in Africa.

The concert takes place on Friday, January 11. Tickets £5, children £3. Call 01474 357681.
