He has presented the Sounds of the 60s show on BBC Radio 2 since 2017, celebrating the best music from the decade each week.

The DJ will now be recreating the show, which has been on the radio since 1983, for a live and in-person audience, with fascinating stories and iconic music from the era.

A live band will perform hits from artists such as The Supremes, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Beach Boys, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and more.

The music will be introduced by Tony himself, intertwined from the presenter’s own memories of the 1960s and stories from the decade in which his remarkable career began.
