Known for his tough talk on Channel 4’s prime time show SAS: Who Dares Wins alongside colleague and friend Ant Middleton, Ollie Ollerton will be at Bluewater this weekend to meet fans and promote his book, Break Point.
His military career started at 18 and after five years’ service with Royal Marine Commandos, Ollie was recommended for SAS Special Forces selection.
He then went on to become a Special Forces Combat Frogman and took part in missions including hostage rescue, counter narcotics and counter terrorism.
After leaving, he led a three-man team infiltrating child trafficking rings on behalf of a charity.
In his book Break Point, he gives advice from what he has learned about facing your own personal break point.
Individual ones could be at the gym, in the office, or in our personal lives but when you’re down to your last bullet - that’s when you find out who you really are, he believes.
He will be at Waterstones in Bluewater shopping centre on Saturday, May 4, at 11am.
It is free to meet Ollie, but you’ll need a copy of his book to meet him.
Bookshop manager David Sheldrake said: “We’re incredibly honoured to have this opportunity to meet a real life hero. We are expecting a lively signing.”
