Based on the classic 1990 movie written by J. F. Lawton, the musical centres around free-spirited Hollywood prostitute Vivian Ward who is hired by wealthy businessman Edward Lewis to be his escort for several business and social functions.

During their week-long stay together, the pair bond and begin to fall in love.
