Organised by the East Kent Model Railway Society, the event is being held to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Birchington station, which opened in October 1863 following the completion of the line between Herne Bay and Ramsgate.

The exhibition will feature a dozen layouts of different scales and sizes, made by enthusiasts from clubs around the area and members of the society.
