First Encounter: The Taming of the Shrew, uses a distilled version of the text for a show aimed at eight to 13-year-olds.

The comedy tells the story of sisters Bianca, who has men running after her, and Kate, who has men running away from her. Either they both get married or neither do. Is anyone ‘man’ enough to take on the Shrew?

It features an introduction to the play and a chance to hear from the actors afterwards.
