Heritage Transport Show to be held at Kent Showground at Detling, Maidstone

More than 900 vintage vehicles will be steaming in to the Kent Showground this weekend.

The Heritage Transport Show, which celebrates a slower pace of life, will see more vehicles than ever before when it is held at the showground in Detling near Maidstone on Saturday, April 6.

The collection on show will include classic cars, commercial and military vehicles, steam engines, motorcycles, tractors, buses and coaches.

The show is also attempting to break the record for the largest gathering of Fordson Model N’s to celebrate the tractor’s 90th anniversary.

Organiser Amy Marsh said: “It’s really exciting to see the show grow year on year so there’s always something new for visitors. Alongside our new exhibits, we’ll also have new displays from the Southern Mini Owners Club, the London Vintage Taxi Association, Fiat 500 Club, and SelKent Mini Club as well as our returning favourites.”
