The gallery will feature work by Medway artists Mick Hampshire and Wolf Howard, including paintings, drawings, pinhole photographs and film.

Wolf was a founder member of the Stuckists art group in 1999, which includes fellow Medway artist Billy Childish and is opposed to conceptual art.

He paints bold images in a simple impasto style, involving thick application of paint, and also takes pinhole photography and makes Super 8 cine films.

Mick’s abstract and figurative oils are inspired by cave paintings, medieval art and 20th-century expressionism.

The Skull Grins Relentless will be at the gallery from Friday, January 17, to Saturday, March 15. It is open from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, and admission is free
