Southeastern offering 25% off rail tickets for summer 2015

Southeastern is offering a 25% discount on off-peak tickets bought online to make it cheaper for people to have a fun day out during the summer months.

The offer, for tickets bought via Southeastern’s website, runs until Monday, August 24.

It includes many off-peak single and return tickets. Tickets can even be bought on the day of travel, as long as people leave two hours between purchasing online and collecting it from a station ticket machine.

The offer has been launched ahead of the school holidays and will run during the summer months to give people the opportunity to visit at a reduced price the huge array of great destinations on the Southeastern network.

'This is a brilliant offer that opens up places in Kent'

Passengers will even be able to use these tickets with Southeastern’s ongoing Kids for a Quid offer.

This allows families to buy £1 tickets for up to four children when they buy an adult ticket.

Southeastern’s Barbara Thomas said: “This is a brilliant offer that opens up places in Kent, East Sussex and London to our passengers at a reduced price.”

“We encourage all our passengers to take advantage of this offer during the summer months as there are some really wonderful places to visit across our network.”

The only restrictions that apply to this offer are that it is not available for journeys wholly within the London Zones. The offer is also not available to be used in conjunction with a railcard.
