Lesley Kitchin, of Sunnyside Road in Rusthall, Tunbridge Wells sentenced for drink driving

A Tunbridge Wells woman has been sentenced after drink driving in Chatham.

Lesley Kitchin pleaded guilty to drink driving following an incident in Wayfield Road, Chatham, on November, 1.

The 51-year-old, of Sunnyside Road, Rusthall, Tunbridge Wells, drove a Ford Fiesta and when stopped gave a breath test of 116 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - nearly four times the legal limit of 35 micrograms.

On November, 24 at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court Kitchin was disqualified from driving for two years and was given an activity requirement to take part in a Women's Group as directed.

She must also pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

Disqualification can be reduced by six months if, by March, 23 2016, she satisfactorily completes a government-approved drink drive rehabilitation course, the cost of which will not exceed £250.
