Teenager in court accused of raping woman in Tunbridge Wells woodland

A teenager appeared in court this morning accused of raping a woman in Tunbridge Wells.

Chiron Hutchinson, of Mount Pleasant in Uckfield, East Sussex, appeared before Medway magistrates after being charged with rape yesterday.

He was remanded in custody and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, November 11.

The 19-year-old is accused of attacking a woman in woodland in Harmony Street, Rusthall.

The woman was reportedly on her way home from a bar in the area when the alleged offence took place last Saturday.
