Road closed by bus and lorry crash

A crash involving a lorry, a car and a double decker bus caused a main road in Tunbridge Wells to be closed off for two hours today.

Emergency services were called to the Eridge Road at the Junction with Broadwater Down at 11am.

The road was closed both ways between Bunny Lane and Broadmead while three men were freed from the wreckage and the lorry was recovered from the road.

Other walking wounded were also treated at the scene.

Those injured have now been taken to the Kent and Sussex Hospital with minor injuries.
