Police helicopter search for van after crash with patrol car in Tunbridge Wells

A police helicopter was deployed to help search for a van after it allegedly crashed with a police car on purpose.

Officers received reports of suspicious activity in Tunbridge Wells last night, which led them to attempt to stop a van.

At around 9.45pm, the vehicle is said to have deliberately collided with a patrol car in Victoria Road, before leaving the scene.

A Police helicopter assisted in a search for the van, which has not yet been found.
