Tunbridge Wells drug dealer Dimitrios Falaris jailed after cocaine falls from underwear

A drug dealer found with cocaine in his underwear has been jailed.

Police stopped a suspicious car driven by Dimitrios Falaris, of no fixed address, while on patrol in Tunbridge Wells in January.

The officers noticed two mobile phones inside the car and when they searched the 25-year-old found a third phone in his pocket along with £500 cash.

They then recovered a clear plastic bag from his waistband that Falaris admitted was cocaine.

He was arrested and when searched at the police station a further plastic bag fell from his underpants onto the floor. It contained 21 deals of cocaine with a street value of between £630 and £840.

The phone recovered from his pocket was later found to have messages related to drug dealing activity.

He was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of criminal property, namely a quantity of cash.

The 25-year-old of no fixed address appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday where he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison.

District Commander, chief inspector Peter Steenhuis said: "This drug dealer is not a resident of Tunbridge Wells and chose to travel here to supply cocaine.

"My officers are alert for those who seek to bring misery to the most vulnerable in our community and were quick to arrest him.

"It is right that he spends some time in prison for his crime."
