Man charged with attempted murder after stabbing in Upper Grosvenor Road, Tunbridge Wells

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a young man was stabbed.

Police were called to a property in Upper Grosvenor Road, Tunbridge Wells, at around 5.30pm on Thursday.

Following the incident, the victim, who is his 20s, drove a car to Belgrave Road where paramedics were called.

He was taken to hospital and is now in a stable condition.

Yesterday, Kojo Ohene was arrested in Croydon before being charged this morning with attempted murder.

The 44-year-old was known to this victim.

Ohene was remanded in custody and will appear at Medway Magistrates' Court today.

A second man, aged 35 and from Ashford, was detained on Friday 19 August, on suspicion of assisting an offender. He was later released pending further investigation.
