Appeal after off-licence robbery

DETECTIVES have renewewd their appeal for information following an Easter Monday robbery at Threshers off-licence in St John's Road, Tunbridge Wells.

It happened at 9.20pm when two masked men, one armed with a large knife, went into the shop and threatened staff.

They stole several hundred pounds and a quantity of cigarettes before fleeing through a rear exit. The robbers were both white men in their late teens. One was 6ft 2ins tall, of slim to medium build, and was wearing a hooded top, blue trousers and white trainers. He also wore a Burberry-patterned scarf wrapped around his face.

The second offender was 5ft 10ins tall, also of slim to medium build, and wore a blue hooded top, blue tracksuit trousers and white trainers. He wore a surgical mask over his face.
