Staines v Tonbridge

Steve Ferguson, the former AFC Wimbledon top-scorer, keeps his place in Tonbridge's starting line-up for tonight's clash away to second placed Staines.

Wide-man Ferguson, signed by manager Tommy Warrilow on Friday from Billericay, enjoyed an excellent debut in Saturday's 3-0 win away to fifth placed Carshalton.

"Considering he was signed so late, I thought Steve did really well at Carshalton," said Warrilow.

"I was chasing the signature of another player at the time but when Steve became available I pulled out all stops to get him."

With Ryman League, Premier Division play-off rivals Sutton, Dartford and Canvey Island all losing on Saturday, third-placed Tonbridge visit Staines in confident mood having lost one of their last eight games on the road.

Striker Jamie Cade, who scored twice on Saturday, and central defender Leon Legge, play their last matches before starting three-match suspensions.

Phil Starkey, Lewis Hamilton and Ade Olorunda remain out of contention owing to injuries.
