Glover back after weather-hit ban

Heybridge Swifts v Tonbridge

Simon Glover returns to the Tonbridge squad for the Ryman League Premier Division trip to bottom side Heybridge on Saturday.

Glover has finally completed a delayed three-match ban so boss Tommy Warrilow names a full strength squad as he looks for a third successive away league win.

He said: "Simon's ban has been one of the longest I have ever known but it's all been down to the weather."

Warrilow rested a couple of players in the midweek 3-0 League Cup defeat at Carshalton, when defender Lewis Hamilton had a 20-minute run-out against the Surrey side, following an Achilles problem picked up against Ramsgate earlier this month.

Defender Leon Legge faces a one-match ban after being sent-off on Tuesday.

Warrilow admits he is becoming increasingly concerned by his team's inability to kill teams off. They have squandered two-goal leads in both games so far this year, as the fight for the play-offs gathers pace by the week.
