Delight as club nets new sponsorship deal

TONBRIDGE Angels have announced a new sponsorship deal for the next two seasons.

In a statement released on the club's website, Angels said they were "delighted to announce that a deal has been reached, after lengthy negotiations, with Betterview Windows and Conservatories to be the club's main sponsor for the next two seasons with an option for a third".

The agreement involves cash and substantial maintenance work at the club's Longmead Stadium.

The company is based in Essex, but have an office in Tonbridge. They also sponsor League 2 side Southend United.

Meanwhile, Richard Brady has become the second player to leave the club since their relegation from the Ryman Premier Division.

Angels captured Brady from Eastbourne Borough in February but he managed just two goals in 11 starts at Longmead.

His departure follows the loss of goalkeeper Jamie Turner to Nationwide Conference South side Welling United.
