Angels turn to Brady's firepower

Tonbridge Angels v Yeading

TONBRIDGE Angels have signed the Eastbourne Borough striker Richard Brady ahead of their match against runaway league leaders Yeading.

The striker has joined the Angels until the end of the season as part of manager Tony Dolby’s effort to avoid relegation from the Ryman Premier Division.

He scored six goals in 23 appearances for Borough in the Conference South this season and hit 22 for Fisher last year.

Angels will be looking to avoid a repeat of their 2-1 defeat against Yeading in October.

Yeading have since performed admirably in a 2-0 defeat against Premiership side Newcastle United in the FA Cup third round.

But Angels will fancy their chances as Yeading have lost their last two league games against Heybridge Swifts and relegation-threatened Salisbury City.

Tony Dolby has been speaking to KM-fm sports editor Simon Watts...
