A woman in her 20s has died after a crash near Tonbridge early this morning.

The incident happened on Tudeley Road near its junction with Postern Lane at 12.05am today and involved a white Ford Fiesta and a white VW Passat.

The driver of the Fiesta, a local woman in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the Passat and a passenger were taken to hospital by the South East Coast Ambulance Service, where they are being treated for serious injuries.

Officers say they are working to establish the circumstances of the collision and want anyone who saw the cars before the collision or who have dashcam footage from the area around the time to contact them.
