Two arrests after stabbing near Mercedes-Benz dealership in Vale Road, Tonbridge leaves man with serious injuries

Two men are being held by police following an alleged stabbing near a car dealership.

Police have cordoned off part of Vale Road, Tonbridge, near the Mercedes-Benz showroom, after a 19-year-old was found with serious injuries yesterday.

He was rushed to a local hospital in a serious condition and is now stable.

After carrying out enquiries at the scene, police arrested two men last night.

A 19-year-old man from Tonbridge and a 21-year-old from Hastings have both been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody.

The victim and suspects are thought to know each other.

Forensic teams were seen outside the Mercedes-Benz Tonbridge showroom, after officers were called out at 6.19pm.

Police were searching an area of land next to the dealership, which has remained open.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
