Officers from Kent Police have visited Northern Cyprus as part of the investigations into the £53 million Securitas robbery.

The trip was connected with the missing money that have not been retrieved since the heist in February 2006.

Just under £21 million of the stolen £53 million has been recovered so far.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "We continue to look for those involved and the money that was stolen. We continue to follow several lines of enquiry. We can confirm that officers were in Cyprus but are no longer there. Kent Police officers visited Cyprus as part of the ongoing investigation, making enquiries to look for those involved."
