Reports of police helicopter in Tonbridge town centre near Sainsbury's

A search for a man wanted in connection with a domestic incident in Tonbridge has entered its second day.

Police were called to the Hectorage Road area of the town around 3pm yesterday. The force helicopter was also deployed to join the hunt.

A police spokesman said: "The man made off from police and inquiries are currently ongoing to locate his whereabouts."

"At 1.45pm officers reported seeing a man wanted in connection with a domestic incident that is reported to have taken police on Saturday, April 30."

The investigation is ongoing, but Kent Police says the man is not a risk to the public. The force is unable to confirm what the incident was.

The same man is also in breach of bail conditions that relate to a separate domestic incident which took place in March.
