Peter Mills of Burma Way, Chatham accused of stealing alsmost £80,000 from Vaultex Ltd in Vale Road, Tonbridge

A man has denied stealing almost £80,000 from a cash handling depot in Tonbridge.

Peter Mills, 67, is accused of taking £79,188 from Vaultex Ltd between January 1 last year and May 13 this year.

Mills, of Burma Way, Chatham, will return to Maidstone Crown Court on January 21 next year for a further hearing.

The site in Vale Road is a former Securitas base which was targeted in the biggest cash robbery in British history involving £53 million.
