A DRIVER who died in hospital after being involved in a collision with a double decker bus has been identified.

Rodney Gibson, 53, of Higham Lane, Tonbridge, was driving on the southbound carriageway of the A21, near Sevenoaks, about three-quarters of a mile before Morleys roundabout when the accident took place on Wednesday.

Mr Gibson was taken to the Kent and Sussex Hospital, Tunbridge Wells, where he died from his injuries.

An inquest has been opened and adjourned.
