Van on fire at Hengist Way, Ramsgate close to Manston Airport

Firefighters attended a vehicle ablaze on the roadside close to an airport.

Fire crews were called to the scene of a van alight at Hengist Way, Ramsgate, at around 7.30am.

It was found on fire on the side of the road close to Manston Airport.

Two fire engines attended and extinguished the flames out just before 8am.

There were no reported injuries.
