Woman taken to hospital after crash in Victoria Parade, Broadstairs

A woman was taken to hospital after a car collided with two parked vehicles on a seafront road.

Emergency services were called to Victoria Parade in Broadstairs following the collision yesterday.

The route - which is near Viking Bay - was sealed off by police following the collision.

A spokesman for the force said: "We were called to Victoria Parade in Broadstairs at 4.45pm yesterday following a report a car had collided with two parked cars.

"Officers attended along with paramedics and a woman was taken to a local hospital."

It is understood the woman's injuries were not life-threatening.

The ambulance service has been approached for more information.
