Kent Police has appealed for information following an alleged sexual assault in Ramsgate.

The incident in Ellington Park is said to have taken place at around 10pm last night (Thursday).

A police cordon has been set up at the entrance to the park at the junction of Ellington Road and Grange Road. It is likely to remain in place until at least 2pm today to allow specialist officers to conduct a thorough search of the area.
