They have been released on bail until November 26.

Some items have been recovered by officers, including satnavs and sunglasses, believed to have been stolen, and work is ongoing to reunite the property with their owners.

Detective constable Hisham Hijazi said: "We believe there might be other victims, possibly elsewhere in Thanet, who have not reported their thefts to police, and we ask them to call us as we might have their lost items.

"We would also like to ask that anyone who thinks they have seen people acting suspiciously around there car or driveway, or caught it on CCTV, to come forward with that information, as it could prove helpful to our investigation.

"We are also reminding people to ensure their cars are locked and any valuable items are removed when leaving them unattended, even if parked at home."

Witnesses can call police on 01843 222289 quoting ZY/65966/18.
