The international chain will be serving customers in the former Samos building which was another pizza parlour.

The company already has a store in Margate with a shop on the High Street which is expected to shut down and be replaced by the new branch – less than 500 metres away.

There are already more than 20 outlets in Kent – three of which are in Thanet.

Pictures show that work has already begun inside, with construction materials visible.

Large Domino’s logos have been erected on the front of the fast-food venue and on a hanging sign above.

It is not confirmed when the new shop will open but it is understood to be before the end of August.

Domino’s has been contacted for comment.
