Ramsgate: Kent Police stop man in Faversham after high-speed chase

Specially-trained police officers forced a car to stop after a high-speed chase.

Police were called to a house in Ramsgate at just after 2am last Thursday following reports of a domestic incident.

Two hours later a man was arrested at junction 6 of the M2 in Faversham after the police joint tactical operations team forced the car he was driving to stop.

Kevin Michael Conlin, 39, of Whitehall Road, Ramsgate, was also charged with false imprisonment and engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour.

He was remanded in custody to appear in court at a date to be confirmed.
