Man charged with three driving offences following fatal crash in Manston in April

A 22-year-old man has been charged with three driving offences following a fatal crash earlier this year.

It happened on Thursday, April 14 in Manston at 9.18pm, with a man in his 30s pronounced dead at the scene.

On Friday, Jake Pedrick-Harvey, 22, of Poets Corner in Margate, was charged and appeared at Canterbury Magistrates' Court yesterday morning.

He has been charged with causing death by driving without due care or consideration while over the limit of a specified controlled drug, causing death by driving while disqualified and driving a vehicle while unlicensed and uninsured.

At the hearing he was remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, October 31.
