Lego stolen from Smyth's in Broadstairs: Kent Police release CCTV of three women

A search has been launched for three women after pricey Lego sets were stolen from a popular children's shop.

The items - which have been described as "high value" by police - were swiped from Smyth's Toy Superstores in Westwood Gateway Retail Park, Broadstairs.

Officers have since stepped up their investigation into the incident - which took place at about 5.35pm on September 2 - by releasing CCTV images of three people they want to identify.

A police spokesman said: "We are investigating the theft of high-value goods from a shop in Broadstairs.

"Two large Lego sets were stolen from a commercial premises in a retail park in Margate Road.

"We are now able to issue CCTV images of three women we would like to identify and speak to as they may have information which could assist enquiries."

Anyone who can identify those pictured are being urged to call detectives on 01843 222289, quoting the reference number 46/172744/22.
