Biker on Lexmoto XTR hurt in crash at junction of Royal Esplanade and Stancomb Avenue, Ramsgate

Witnesses are needed after a car and motorcycle smash, which seriously injured the rider.

It happened at the junction of Royal Esplanade and Stancomb Avenue in Ramsgate at at 12.51pm yesterday.

It involved a silver Vauxhall Astra Life and a black Lexmoto XTR motorcycle.

During the collision a maroon Jaguar XJ, which was parked nearby, was also damaged.

The motorcyclist was taken to a London hospital with a serious foot injury, where he remains today in a stable but serious condition.

Kent Police officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for witnesses who saw the collision or any of the vehicles beforehand.
