Margate man arrested over 'arson' after car fire in Taddy Gardens

A man has been arrested after a car and fence were set alight in a suspected arson attack.

Police and fire crews rushed to Taddy Gardens in Margate, at 11.30pm on May 4, after reports of the blaze.

A 49-year-old man from Margate was arrested on suspicion of arson, criminal damage and threats.

He has been released on bail until June 1.

Officers investigating the arson are keen to speak to any witnesses who have not yet come forward.
