Omiga Security Systems Ltd specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of security systems for residential and commercial premises, schools and retail outlets.

Omiga, based at Fairway Business Park, Castle Road, Sittingbourne, has been in business for more than 10 years and has continued to thrive despite the tough economic conditions.

David Hart founded the company and is one of its three employees.

He has ambitions to grow the firm, and is expecting to take on another qualified engineer and an apprentice in the next six months.

The main source of business has always been the installation of intruder alarms, however over the last year it has seen a marked increase in requests for CCTV and door entry and access control.

It has continued to increase in turnover and profit due to winning a number of contracts, including installing alarms and gate entry systems for larger size, high-end homes and working with a shop fitting company for a flagship fashion design store in Chelsea.

David discussed his entry into the Swale Business Awards and why he felt Omiga Security Systems Ltd deserved to be recognised.

“We have always been very personal with our customers and have provided the best service we feel can be offered.

“Nearly all our work has been from recommendations and we recently installed a burglar alarm for a very high-profile client.

“We won’t compromise on safety so while we’re probably not the cheapest out there I think we’re the most reliable.”
