Supermarket plans get the go-ahead

Supermarket giant Tesco has been given the go-ahead to build a new store in the town.

Members of Swale council’s planning committee agreed to an application to build the shop on land at Milton Creek when they met at Swale House, East Stret, Sittingbourne, last night (Thursday).

Conditions must be met before work at the site can begin.
