Police release CCTV image following attack on man in High Street, Sittingbourne

Detectives have released a CCTV image of somebody they would like to speak to about an assault.

It’s reported that a man in his 20s was seriously injured after being punched in the head by an unknown attacker who was part of a group of people.

The victim was walking up Sittingbourne High Street from Bell Road when the incident occurred. It happened at around 2am on Sunday, July 27 but Kent police have only just released the details and picture.

The man pictured is wearing an Adidas t-shirt. Investigating officer DC Karen Caulfield said: “I would encourage the man in the image to contact police as you might have information that could help with ongoing inquiries.”
