Carers from around the borough have enjoyed a fun day held in their honour.

Swale Carers’ Centre, which is based in Sheerness, hosted its first fun day at Borden Grammar School in Sittingbourne on Sunday.

The centre is a charity which promotes and supports carers of all ages within Swale.

More than 100 young and adult carers came along to the event, which was to highlight and recognise the work they do as unpaid carers.
