Late night blaze in Sittingbourne

Firefighters were called to tackle a major blaze in Sittingbourne on Saturday night.

A truck and a trailer unit were on fire at a compound in Prentice Quay.

Two engines arrived at the scene at 9.40pm, and the blaze was extinguished by 10.20pm

No-one was injured as a result of the fire, which left the truck severely damaged, and the trailer unit with 50% damage.

The cause of the blaze is being investigated.
