Crash near the Stockbury Roundabout M2 junction 5 cause traffic delays

Drivers on a motorway were stuck in traffic after a collision on a slip road.

A small silver car crashed on the slip road towards the Stockbury Roundabout on the M2, junction 5 for Sittingbourne, Sheppey and Maidstone, on the coastbound carriageway.

Police, paramedics and firefighters were on the scene.

One man has reported facial injuries and work is now going on to clear the road.

The road was cleared just before 8am,
