Driver appears in court following fatal crash

A MAN has appeared in court charged with driving offences in connection with the death of a motorcyclist.

Thomas Marshall, 23, stands accused of dangerous driving over a collision that cost the life of 34-year-old Barry Spry, from Sittingbourne.

It happened in Avenue Road, Bexleyheath, on September 10 this year.

Mr Spry was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in south east London but later died.

Marshall, of Southend Lane, Catford, south east London, is also charged with driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.

Bexley magistrates remanded him on bail until next month.
