Woman cut free from car after crash in Brielle Way, Sheerness

An injured woman had to be cut free from her car after a crash yesterday.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a two-car crash on Brielle Way in Blue Town near Sheerness at about 6.20pm.

Crews used hydraulic rescue cutting gear to remove the roof of one of the vehicles to gain access to the driver, who had become trapped by her injuries.

She was placed in the care of paramedics. Crews made the scene safe.
