White Horse go down fighting

White Horse went down fighting as they took their leave of the Kent Junior Cup with a 4-3 defeat by Whitstable side Waterfront.

Trailing 4-0 at one stage, White Horse fought back to narrow the deficit to 4-3 only for time to run out on a valiant effort.

In Division 1, Milton and Fulston know if White Horse drop points they must be in a position to take advantage and they found themselves in a must-win game against Holm Sports.

Paul Teague’s goal earned them maximum points and they now sit five points behind White Horse with a game in hand.

In the lower half of the table, White Horse Colts went down 4-1 to fellow strugglers Leysdown. Their goals came from Kam Singh (2), Dan Servante and Dan Calder with Aaron Emson replying.

Division 2 is hotting up with leaders Park Regis A on top by virtue of a superior goal difference from Dore United.
