POLICE are investigating two arson attacks in the same road on the Isle of Sheppey.

A red Toyota MR2 and a boat were set alight in Thames Avenue, Sheerness, in the early hours of Saturday.

They were parked on driveways outside properties in the road. The attacks were between 4.30am and 4.55am.

Insp David Applegate, of the Island Neighbourhood Team, said: "Police are determined to catch those responsible for these two incidents. Someone knows who carried out these crimes and I would urge them to come forward as soon as possible with information."
