Teenage boy assaulted in Alexandra Road, Sheerness

A teenage boy was reportedly assaulted this evening in Sheerness.

Police were called to the scene of the incident in Alexandra Road at 6.50pm.

The victim has been taken to hospital with head and arm injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening.

A police spokesman said: "Officers are at the scene and carrying out enquiries."
