A guest at a school’s summer fair left with a lovely bunch of coconuts – after winning a record six at the stall.

The PTA at Elliott Park in Marina Drive, Minster, hosted the event on Saturday.

More than 100 people went along in the sunshine to enjoy the stalls, games and activities.

Altogether it raised nearly £900, which will be doubled by Barclays in Sheerness where a parent works.

It will go back into PTA funds to pay for things including school trips, transport and visitors.

Head teacher Richard Barson said: “I would like to thank all the people who came and the parents and PTA who were there preparing and getting the whole show on the road.

“It was very successful and something I think we will want to repeat.”
