Police have found a 35-year-old man who was missing for nearly a week.

Lee Gilham, from the Isle of Sheppey, was last seen in Sheerness on Wednesday.

Officers tried to locate him by releasing a photograph of Mr Gilham, and appealing for help from the public.

He was last spotted driving a red Renault Clio, which has not been located.

But now the force have confirmed Mr Gilham have been found safely.

Anyone with information is asked to call Kent Police on 101 quoting reference 21-0050.
